| Could Your Team Work More Effectively?
More than 80% of Fortune 500 firms are using teams as all or part of their organizational structure. Effective teams are powerful forces of creativity, problem-solving, productivity, and innovation - and contemporary corporations are increasingly recognizing the ability to gaincompetitive advantage by implementing them.
However, as many have learned the hard way, teams do not often operate effectively from the start. They need training and coaching to learn how to work together in an efficient manner that yields results.
Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity's TeamBuilds program uses a structured methodology designed and facilitated by organizational development and training professionals. This day-long session of home-building develops your employees' skills, translating into profit for your company. Participants will work directly as part of Chesapeake Habitat's effort to bring affordable housing to low-income families in developing Baltimore communities.
 How We Can Help
During the course of the day, participants work with a training professional to build the skills necessary for effective team work: including clear and common purpose, conflict management, rewards and recognition, open communication, and more.* Discussions focus on team performance not only on the construction site but also back in the workplace.
